Dr. S. Mayooran has joined the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Jaffna as a Senior Lecturer after working as a Professional Structural Engineer in Australia. He has obtained his Bachelor of the Science of Engineering Degree with First Class Honors from the University of Moratuwa in 2011. He has completed his Doctor of Philosophy Degree at the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia in 2015. His research interests are design of cold-formed & hot-rolled steel structures and timber structures.
