Elementary Laboratory

ELEMENTARY LAB

The elementary laboratory contains a range of specialist equipment and components to understanding the principles of electrical and electronic engineering. It provides several benchtop experiments and equipment for teaching and learning the properties of electrical and electronics components. It provides practicing present hardware technologies while developing research skills to the students. It enables students with an exploration of and development of an understanding of the electrical and electronic components.

All kind of laboratory session related to electronics engineering, electrical engineering, control system, power electronics, and other related module takes places in the electronics lab. The elementary lab has modern and valuable equipment such as DC and AC power supply, function generator, analog, and digital oscilloscope, digital-analog trainer, analog and digital multimeter, and basic electrical and electronic components. Apart from the laboratory hours students uses this lab mainly at their individual project for examples construct and test electric circuits and to gain hands-on skills.

The elementary laboratory has 13 spaces. Out of 13 spaces, 12 spaces correspond to conduct the lab experiment. At the laboratory session, nearly 60 students can participate in a particular laboratory session. In the lab, there is an open space for student’s discussion and collaboration.

The elementary laboratory contains different apparatus to explain key electrical and electronic engineering principal. It is a multi-purpose space with the potential for use in a range of engineering laboratories.
