Eng. S. Nithusiga received her Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University, India. She is currently pursuing an M.Phil. degree at the University of Jaffna, specializing in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

She serves as a Lecturer (Probationary) in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Jaffna. Her research focuses on power systems and renewable energy systems, with particular interests in power system stability, smart grid technologies, and the integration of renewable energy sources into modern power networks.

She is an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (AMIE-SL), an Associate Engineer of the Engineering Council, Sri Lanka (AEng-ECSL), and a Member of IEEE.
