Ms. S. Pafiya is currently a Lecturer (Probationary) in the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies, Faculty of Engineering, from February 2026 onwards. She obtained her Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mathematics with Statistics from Wayamba University of Sri Lanka in 2018 and is currently reading for a Master of Science in Data Science at the University of Peradeniya.
She worked as a Temporary Demonstrator at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, from February 2018 to February 2020. During this period, she also served as an Academic Sub-Warden (Part-time) at Chithra Devi Girls’ Hostel, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, Kuliyapitiya Premises, from September 2019 to February 2020.
Later, she worked as a Temporary Demonstrator at the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies, Faculty of Technology, University of Jaffna, from September 2020 to January 2023. She then served as a Temporary Assistant Lecturer in the same department from February 2023 to February 2026.
