Electronic dice as an Electronic Souvenir for the First Batch of Engineering Students

Professor Eliathamby Ambikairajah, Head of School of Electrical Engineering & Telecommunications at the University of New South Wales in Australia has donated components and the associated circuit diagram to make an electronic dice as an Electronic Souvenir for the first batch of Engineering students at the University of Jaffna. Each student was given the components and the circuit diagram and the students are expected to solder the components according to the diagram to produce an electronic dice and when the students successfully solder it that will be their souvenir. Students were very much interested in preparing their surprised souvenirs. This is not only a memorable souvenir but also it develops practical skills while motivating the students. This event was held during 1st week of June 2014.
