Mr. S. Thananjeyan, Lecturer from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, attended five days’ workshop on “Network Security” at Information Technology Center, University of Peradeniya organized by SANOG. The twenty fifth South Asia Network Operators Group (SANOG) conference was hosted by LEARN in the historical city of Kandy, Sri Lanka from 16thto 24thJanuary 2015. It was organized in collaboration with the Information Technology Center, University of Peradeniya. Internet Security Workshop contained wide-ranging high-level tutorials on theory and mechanisms combined with some hands-on labs.There were around 50 selected participants attended to the Network Security workshop from all over the South Asian countries.
