Dr. Roshan Ragel, Senior Lecturer from Department of Computer Engineering, University of Peradeniya, is helping the Faculty as a visiting lecturer from 14th August 2015. He obtained his BSc (Eng) Hon. in Computer Engineering from the University of Peradeniya in 2001 and PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from University of New South Wales in 2007. His research interest is in Micro-architectural aspects of Embedded Systems Design and their Security and Reliability issues.
Dr. Roshan Ragel is not only helping the faculty on teaching but also helping to develop the curriculum for computer engineering. He visited the Faculty of Engineering time to time for meetings and discussions and the staff members also visited him at Peradeniya for discussions. His dedication on the curriculum development of the Department of Computer Engineering is very appreciated by the Faculty staff members.
