A friendly cricket match was organized between the staffs of the Department of Irrigation at Kilinochchi and Faculty of Engineering. This was organized at the cricket ground of the Kilinochchi premises of the University of Jaffna on 15th September 2015. It was an excellent opportunity for both Department of Irrigation and faculty of engineering staffs to interact closely and share a light moment.
It is good to remember that at the time of establishing this Faculty, the staff members of the Department of Irrigation headed by Deputy Director Eng N. Suthaharan helped a lot with the support of former Provincial Director Eng. K.S. Sivapatham and Provincial Director Eng S. Shanmuhananthan. Faculty staff members greatly appreciate Department of Irrigation for their help including cleaning the land during the years 2011 and 2012.
