A general talk was given by Dr. Jagaruban to make awareness to the students on common problem they may experience and few ways out real examples. Further, he discuss some common problem where the University students experiences during their golden University life while using the technologically advance devices. This is an excellent interactive talk with the students, to keep them aware on some unexpected experience may occur in some of their life. This talk was sponsored by the HNB and the Faculty thank the resource person and sponsor of this social event.
Dr. V. Jegaruban completed the school education at Jaffna Hindu College entered into the Jaffna Medical Faculty and passed out in the year 2000. After finishing the internship at Teaching Hospital Jaffna got the first appointment in Teaching Hospital Karapitiya. He is working with Sinhala – Tamil – Muslim experience in Galle stressed the importance of unity in diversity.
The interest toward mental health pushed to do the Diploma in Psychiatry course at University of Colombo. The training at National Institute of Mental Health – Angoda and the work experience at Divisional Hospital Moratuwa gave a good exposure to the mental health problems of marginalized communities in the capital city.
He completed Master Degree in Psychology at the Open University of Karnadaka (India). He has been working as a Medical officer – Mental Health at District General Hospital Kilinochchi for more than one year. He is a good team member and a countryman with social responsibility.
