Dr. A. Atputharajah (Dean, Faculty of Engineering, University of Jaffna), Miss. H. Krishnarajah (Lecturer), Eng. S. Sugitharan & K. Prashanth (Instructors), Mr. S. Sangar, Mr. A.C.Y Jasinthu & Ms. T. Kirushnaveni (Students) from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Jaffna have participated in a symposium on climate change held on 15th of January 2016 at BMICH. The main topic of the symposium was to analyze the summit of the 21st conference of Paris (COP21) of the UNFCCC held on Paris and the responsibilities that Srilanka have in order to reduce the effect of climate change. The symposium was arranged by the ministry of power and energy.
