Welcome to the department of Civil Engineering at University of Jaffna. We invite you to look through our website and learn more about our academic programs, our students and faculty, and current research in the department. We offer a special program in Civil Engineering from the fourth semester to eighth semester for the students who have successfully completed the general program. During the course of five semesters, we impart knowledge in following major disciplines in Civil Engineering: Geotechnical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, and Coastal Engineering. Additionally, we offer sufficient knowledge in surveying, metallurgy, and fluid mechanics. |
