Ms. P. Jeyananthan and Ms. J. Segar joined department of Computer Engineering as lecturer (probationary) from 1st of January 2016. This department had only one academic member until both of them have joined the department. Ms. T. Logeswaran also joined department of Civil Engineering as lecturer (probationary) on same day.
Ms. P. Jeyananthan received BSc (Hons.) in Computer Science with first class from University of Jaffna in 2008. Before she joined the faculty, she worked as a temporary lecturer at Department of Computer Science, University of Jaffna. Her research interests are in the areas of Knowledge base systems, Ontology engineering and Pattern recognition.
Ms. J. Segar received BSc (Hons.) in Computer Science with first class from University of Jaffna in 2014. Before she joined the faculty, she worked as a temporary lecturer at Department of Computer Science, University of Jaffna. Her research interests are in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Natural language processing.
Ms. T. Logeswaran received BScEng (Hons.), specialized in Civil Engineering with second class (upper division) from University of Peradeniya in 2014. Before she joins us she worked as Design engineer at Grontmij A/S Denmark for Jaffna Kilinochchi Water Supply and Sanitation Project. Her research interests are in the areas of Water, wastewater and Solid waste management.
