Mr. Sampath participated a short course offered in the 8th International Perspective on Water Resources and the Environment (IPWE 2016) conference on 3rd Jan 2016 at Cinnamon Grand hotel, Colombo. Short courses and conference was organized by American Society of Civil Engineers /Environmental and Water Resources Institute (ASCE-EWRI).
Short course title was “Groundwater Modeling using United States Geological Survey’s MODFLOW”. Instructors for the short course was Uditha Bandara, Ph.D., SFWMD, Jim Rumbaugh, Ph.D. (via WebEx). Expenses for the short course registration was funded by WaSo project of University of Jaffna.
