On 9th August 2014, at the end of the semester 1, staff crew of the Faculty of Engineering engaged in a discussion with students to get their feedback about the completed semester. The discussion was arranged by the student counsellor of the Faculty.The discussion started with a tea party followed by some entertainment activities by both staff and students. Finally, a group of physicians comprised of a consultant and a medical doctor from Kilinochchi hospital lead by the Medical Superintend Dr. P. Karthikeyan, conducted a talk on “How to face challenges”.
The doctors gave few suggestions to improve the facilities to the students and confirmed their continuous support to place a mini health center at the Kilinochchi premises of the University of Jaffna. This was also good interactive discussion to quickly enhance the students’ life at the University.
