The first batch of engineering students has successfully completed the first semester of their education on 9th August 2014. This was a challenging semester conducted while adding number of facilities to the Faculty. However, this has added excellent experience with challenges, motivation and enthusiasm to the student. On 9th August 2014, at the end of the semester 1, staff crew of the Faculty of Engineering engaged in a discussion with students to get their feedback about the completed semester. The discussion was arranged by the student counsellor of the Faculty.The discussion started with a tea party followed by some entertainment activities by both staff and students. Finally, a group of physicians comprised of a consultant and a medical doctor from Kilinochchi hospital lead by the Medical Superintend Dr. P. Karthikeyan, conducted a talk on “How to face challenges”.
